- A page turning must
This much hyped book had a lot to prove. Although it may not win literary awards or be haled a classic...I feel the hype has been justified. It has an engaging plot and Larsson has provided us with two interesting main characters...so even though you may only set out to read a couple of pages....you will soon get hooked in! Although uncomfortable reading at times....(this isn't a fluffy detective story) it isn't gratuitous and is in context.
Still in two minds about watching the film ....my imagination is much more impressive than any director's budget!

This book is just fantastic I could not put it down once I started it! It is part of a trilogy so I have now ordered the next two books which I cannot wait to read. Such a pity that the author has died. Highly recommend reading this book!

Excellent story line which keeps suspense all the way through. A dark story which reflects something of the darker side of life in Sweden, a complicated plot demanding concentration. However, a most enjoyable read which keeps you on tenterhooks and longing for the next one in the Trilogy.
