- Great....If Your Wedding Has an Eighties Theme!
It surprises me that this book has such good reviews. I was very disappointed with it - especially for the price.
As a previous reviewer mentioned, it has very few actual styles for the price and more to the point all of the styles are very dated. This book was first made in 1988 and has clearly never been revisited since. All of the hair styles clearly date to that era and the "Modern" section of the book is anything but.
I honestly can't see any modern, stylish bride buying this book and being even remotely pleased. If you're looking for something modern or fashionable, this is not the book for you.

- Elegant bridal hairstyles
Being a bridal hair & makeup specialist and a beauty therapist, I was very inspired by this book, it contains very detailed and beautifully presented ideas and bridal hair designs. It covers styles for the traditional bridal theme, but more exciting has also covered the modern wedding theme including sections on classical, medieval and contemporary styles. It also contains sections on tiara's, veils, mother of the bride, and also contains some beautiful make up artistry. I bought this book to show my brides and it has proved invaluable, a very good book for any bride!

- Not enough example styles for the price
Instead of trawling through lots of hair magazines I thought I would instead get a book that was specific for wedding hair for my special day. I expected there to be lots of example styles to give me some inspiration. However, there was about 35 example styles, mostly for very long hair. I have medium to long length hair, if you have short hair it is definitely not a book for you as it only has one style example for short hair. I was very disappointed with the number of styles, however, the styles that were in the book included a very good description of how to do them with full colour photographs of the step by step guide.

- Full of great bridal hairstyles
Being a professional make-up and hair artist, I found this book to be very inspiring. It delivers numerous bridal hairstyles in glorious colour and detail. There are sections on classical, traditional, medieval and contemporary hairstyles which cater for everyone's tastes. They also show you how to recreate some of them yourself. There is also a section on tiara's and veils etc. A good book for anyone who's getting married!
