Rating: 5 of out 5 - moon magic

This is so much more than a factual report of the first moon landing.Ladies sewing and assembling the space suits.Dreamlike images of the giant crawler caterpillar tracks moving the Saturn rocket to its launchpad. Lines of camper vans parked at Cape Canaveral. The liftoff reflected in sunglasses. The rows of mission control equipment filmed by a camera mounted on a wheelchair.Pictures of life aboard the Apollo capsule filmed by the astronauts, and the first images from the moon's surface.
This is documentary making of the highest calibre, directed with inspired imagination.

Rating: 1 of out 5 - Be very careful

I ordered some DVD's from this company in December 2008 for 2 DVD's, i received 1 DVD after multiple phone calls and emails approx 7 months later. I am still waiting on the second DVD and the phone number has gone dead and I can't reply to emails.

Buyers beware.

Rating: 4 of out 5 - MoonWalkOne

The is an excellent DVD, it gives you a real idea of what went on behind the scenes of this monumental event. Even though they where 40 years ago the excitment is still palpable.

Rating: 3 of out 5 - Moonwalk One - a film of its time

A somewhat overly-romanticised account of the first moon landing and something of a reflection of the Zeitgeist of the late 1960s and the documentary film making style of the time - i.e. at times somewhat obscure (if not even a little patronising) and with an irritating musical soundtrack (despite its many accolades). However, this should not detract from the film as an interesting window onto the era and as a fascinating historical record of man's first landing on the moon. Despite the criticisms, glad I bought it.

Rating: 4 of out 5 - Want to experience Space history ?

This is a restoration of the original film presentation.
So if you have any interest in the Apollo missions or Space.
This DVD is one to add to your collection
