Rating: - Just Gets Better

The series just seems to get better. When I first watched Futurama I have to say I was a little disappointed, the pilot I thought wasn't as good as the Simpsons. With time and the more I watched the series grew on me and now i'm a avid fan, got loads of Futurama merchandise my fave being the metal lunch box. Season 3 has one of my fave episodes, the luck of the fryish. This epsiode in paticular made me realise how great Futurama is. You'll laugh and cry, this episode bought a tear to my eye. I would have paid the full price of the box set just for this episode alone. All the other episode are fantastic too. I really hope they bring all the other seasons out on DVD soon, I want to complete the collection. Do your self a favour and just buy this and the others even if you're just a passive viewer, you will regret it if you miss out on this classic series.

I got this DVD boxset on Thursday and ive already finished watching it! it's really good! Loads of extra features and brand new episodes, never before aired on TV! This is a must for any Futurama fan ..... and any Simpsons fan...and anyone really!

Rating: - The Most Underated Televison Show of All Time!

Futurama launched with season one, got off to a quick pace with season two and with season three breaks off into an intergaltic speed!

Season three is by far the most stuuning,wittiest,bizarre and laugh your pants off season of Futurama to be realeased on DVD yet! Like its bigger brother The Simpsons, Futurama awards the eagle eyed viewer with hillarious jokes that only the quick will spot. The Factorthat makes Futurama as funny as The Simpsons an at times even funnier (can i say that?) is the that since Futurama is set in the future the makers of the show can get away with alot more far fetched ideas. For instance: In the episode "Thats Lobstertainment!" you will find the DNA of Jack Nicholson reconstituted with the body of a gorilla! I laughed for hours! The show is a Science Fiction fans dream with many of the shows jokes having a dig at SCI-FI movies and shows.

Major episode highlights of this boxset are:

"The Luck Of The Fryish": Who said animation couldnt be upsetting? This episode is so moving! Look out for Noticeably F.A.T (an excellent character!).

"Time Keeps on Slipping": The Globetrotters challenge Earth to a Basketball game with nothing but shame at stake! Cue atomic super babies, uncontrollable time jumps, More bad luck for Fry and Sweet Clyde!

"Roswell That Ends Well": The Planet Express Crew travel back in time to Roswell! Zoidberg is probed!, The Professor wears the swankiest outfit known to man! and Fry becomes his own.........watch it and see!

"Godfellas": A very philisophical episode. Who'd have thought it!

"Amazon Women in The Mood": Zapp Brannigan and Kiff on a planet full of women! Worth the price just to see the scene where Zapp is doing kareoke!

I say these are the highlights but these are just my personal favourites. Every episode is of a high quality that you come to expect from Matt Groening.

Okay.........Extras! Pretty cool. Every episode has audio commentary from the cast and crew which is quite amusing itself as they talk you through how they make the episodes. Also on each disc are deleted scenes which never made the final cut. You can only see them here! Also the menus are nicely animated and always a pleasure to watch.

Overall this is an outstanding collection that i would recommend to anyone. Especially fans of The Simpsons and Science Fiction. Buy this DVD now Futurama will go down in History as the most underated cult classic of all time! Crack open a Slurm and enjoy!

Rating: - Futurama Do You Want To Buy

Futurama 3 Is a brilliant collection of over 20 episodes I own seasons 1,2 and now 3 and season 3 has to be one of the most brilliant yet, thanks to Amazon.co.uk for delivering it fast.

Futurama Season 3 has full-length commentaries for the episodes (an extra one for "Roswell"), an Animatic of "Anthology of Interest 2" (early animated drawing version), more than 15 minutes of deleted scenes and then some. The commentaries are a great surrogate to get that yourself.
I strongly advise you to purchase this if you're a Futurama fan or not because it is enjoyable fun if you're single or a family member. When I received mine from Amazon I took one look at the front and I thought this is going to be a great season.

I can't really explain to you how excellent this season is and if you buy it to you will not be let down I tell you because if you don't like animated programs than you will like this because myself did not like animated programs and Futurama was one brilliant DVD collection to watch when upset because its guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Rating: - Incredible Stuff

This is a great DVD package with a huge number of episodes and special features. Even the menus are works of art in themselves. The commenatries are great especially with some of the more unusual episodes like Roswell That Ends Well and Bendin' In The Wind.

Many say that Futurama is better than the Simpsons and after seeing this DVD you'll agree with them.
