Rating: - One of the most underrated programs on T.V

The third series is in my opinion the best Futurama series released in the shops so far. The jokes are funnier and more frequent, but the writers have managed to incorporate more heartfelt and thoughtful moments, which is some thing the sister show "The Simpsons" is better known for. If you like the 1st and 2nd series then I would advise this to you. If you are not a fan of either "the Simpsons" or sci-fi then you probably won't find this makes any sense at all. This is a trait shared with most sit-coms, for the fans that watched from the start, it could be the funniest program ever, but when they try and explain the joke to a friend who has never seen it, they will sit there starring at you blankly. There is a nice touch where they have incorporated a what I guess is a warning on copywriting but in the Alien alphabet, the same one deciphered in Season 2 DVD. Unfortunately Fox has now decided to cancel the show because of poor ratings, which is partially due to there T.V scheduling, this is a shame as this DVD for me is just as funny as any of the Simpsons series. If you are not sure on whether to buy this product then watch an episode. (Currently shown on satellite and cable on a Sunday Sky1).

Futurama is from the makers of the simpsons, and by god hes made another award winning cartoon series again. Futurama is based around fry, and idiot from the en of the 20th century that accidently got himself frozen and is now living at the start of the 22nd century(see season 1). The series has now finished its 3rd series and i havent missed an episode. This has the making of another great classic, Bender is a sarcastic alcoholic robot(alcohol is required to function properley...dont ask me why,but its funny to watch)that is frys best friend, Lela is the one eyed sensible alien that is the pilot of a space ship, and to top it off they work for an intergalatic delivery service for frys nephew(thats about 60 years older than him), with a lobster for a doctor and a Jamican democrat overlooking the operation. Overall this series has got some serious issues but by god its funny as hell to watch. So if youve seen futurama before then you will want this box set, if you havent you may not understand everypart of the "plot" but youll wet yourself laughing while trying to find out. This is the best season of them all and well worth the money for a lifetime of laughter(and for all simpson fans this is a deffinate must!!!)

If you like the Simpsons, Family Guy or Futurama then you'll love this, it features the best episodes yet. It hasn't dried up like the simpsons has in recent years, and ,yes believe me it does, feature better caracters than Family Guy. If you have either of the Futurama seasons on DVD then you'll know the only major drawback was the lack of 'play all' button which has now been rectified, so you don't have to stop laughing to change the episode. And it has 22 episodes!!! compared to the originals' 14 and the seconds' 19. Now you get even more hilarious episodes for you're money. The funniest DVD's out.
