Rating: - A gripping tale with a good story line and great characters

I loved the TV show so much that I couldn't wait to get my hands on the full set to watch when I wanted. Well worth the money. Great show, good story, funny characters. Loved it - would buy again, roll on season 2.

That's exactly what happened when i saw the very first episode of this amazing series!
There are so many vampire-type series out there that all seem to go along the same lines and you know exactly what's going to happen.....well True Blood is DIFFERENT!! It holds you on the edge of your seat and has some amazing twists and turns.
Based on the Sookie Stackhouse books,this series has been very cleverly made.
It's SEXY! It's SCAREY! and the soundtrack is just amazing too,you just can't get enough of it!!!

Rating: - cant wait to finally start watching properly

Finally the DVD's arrived today after being on preorder for months and getting delayed by the postal strikes a little, then missing the start on FX and then later on channel 4 as was moving into my first home and being unable to have sky (too expensive) or virgin (can't have cables in durham) and being on too late that i would wake my partner who has to be up early. However i did manage to watch a few parts of episodes on youtube and all i can say is i was hooked. I was a little surprised by the size of the parcel thinking eh how can that be a full series in a single DVD case? but it does with the back-to-back flip bit. Great cast and setting and mood.
