Problem with SmartLink

I have this box and on the whole it's very good except the SmartLink isn't so smart. After spending days getting it to work I found that it kept turning itself off and the only way to turn it back on was to unplug and plug in again (not turn on/off) the VTX. Once on again it can't be relied on to carry out your recording wishes as you don't know when it's going to turn itself off again ... it's a real pain!
