Rating: - Works great but doesn't charge latest 4th gen ipod Nano!

Bought this for my Discovery as standard AUX via ipod headphone socket was very low volume and not doing the logic 7 surround system justice.
Now the sound is great and power adaptor seems to be fairly snug.
Bought a very short aux lead to connect direct into the Discos AUX port which is right next to the power socket.
Doesn't charge the latest 4th gen ipod nano though.
I've done a swap with the wife for her older nano so she's got a result anyhow.

This item is excellent value for money. It does exactly what I expected and is superbly made. It looks great, and like everything else that I have made by Belkin, is brilliant. Well done Belkin - oh and well done Amazon for being getting the price right.

Having been through 2 other ipod car chargers, both of which suffered from interference from the car, which sounded like a whine, changing with the engine revs. The Belkin offers a line out from the lighter plug, which gives a fantastic sound, with no interference. A great product, I wish I'd found it before I threw my money away on similar products.

Rating: - Nice bit of kit

Don't be put off by the low price charged by Amazon, this is a good piece of kit. Early days at the moment but have used mine for 3 - 4 hours at a time and it works faultlessly and the ipod has stayed fully charged.
You must read the instructions and set the volume on the charger - otherwise there is no output (got the Tee Shirt on this).
I like kit like this - it just does what it says it does.
PS: I do not usually endorse products, but this deserves it.

Absolute must for anyone who uses the ipod in the car with a casette adapter. works with the ipod Video as well. Has a charger and amplifier in the autokit, which allows for volume adjustment without having to crank up the ipod volume or car stero volume to max (One has to do this if the casette adapter is connected directly to the ipod.)The sound quality is also superior as it connects through the dock adapter, rather than the 3.5 mm port for the earphones. Works beautifully with the car stereo system (BOSE) and Monster cable car casette adapter.
5 star product. don t know how they do it so cheap here!!!
