- Great bit of Kit
We live / work in France and depend on the internet for our business. We usually install Linksys modem/routers but tried an alternative brand for a while. We very quickly returned to Linksys, the kit is by far the best router/modem we've used. The WAG200G combined with the WRE54G Wireless Range Expander ensures we get 5 bar coverage around the house on all our PC's / Laptops. Even without the Range Expander the WAG200G offers good performance (3-4 bars) the house has very thick solid walls - so quite impressive. Some reviews on the WAG200G suggest that it's difficult to set up, we experienced no problems, the WAG200G was up and running within 20 mins of opening the box, and so far we've experienced no issues with losing internet connection - a great bit of kit

Did not work, not possible to setup after numerous phone calls to Linksys and Amazon, finally got a replacement but the replacement still did not work got a full refund.

Superb product.Easy to set up and stable.Suggest upgrading Firmware to latest available as by doing so my downstream margin that had been a bit suspect owing to distance from the exchange shot up and is now always in the safe zone

The product arrived much earlier than the estimated delivery time. Was in great condition and was pretty easy to set up.
The only downfall was how difficult it was to connect to the internet.
But this downside was redeemed by the exceptionally helpful advice and guidance we received when phoning up/using the livechat feature.
We even received a phone call the next day to check how it was doing!
So I highly recommend buying this.
And if you have trouble like we did, don't hesitate to ask for help.
My dad wasted hours being stubborn, whereas it took five minutes with the help.
Don't make the same mistake. Pride gets you nowhere :P
Rating: - Easy To Install and run
This Product to coin a phase is exactly what it says on the box.
The product is small neat and tidy, the software is an easy install and comes with adequte documentation to lead you through the installation.
Being an all in one ie. modem and router with built in hardware firewall its all you need to get good conectivity to the net.
This was my second linksys unit as I was so impressed with the first one.
The earlier unit I had for a number of years and still worked as a wireless router but was damaged on the BT line after some problems with the BT line.
The previously Linksys unit was retro fitted an external high gain ariel to gain coverage around the house, but this new WAG200G without any extras has out performed the old unit in speed and connectivity and I can connect with the laptop even from neibours house over the road.
It also handle multiple connections well we have up to 5 pc's running through the unit (At the same time).
In summary a nice neat very functional unit that is certainly recomended by me.
