Average rating - 3.0 out of 5

Rating: 3 of out 5 - COD WAW

Love the COD range but was dissappointed with this game. Doesnt have the grip factor the others had over me. Its easy to play as I completed normal and hard levels within a week. Has the blood splatter that is lacking in other COD titles. And as an Englishman I was expecting some good old Tommy action but only had US (what a suprise) and the Russians .

Rating: 1 of out 5 - Great Game ....BUT!

Over the years I have bought all the COD games and 2 of each one for me and one for my son. I also now have to buy him an Xbox version of each game.

We recently bought Call Of Duty WOW and also Modern Warfare. Really great games and we soon had unlocks, rank etc.

Then without any explanation on 2 occasions for me over a period of 2 months and once for my son when you turn on your PC and go to play you find that your profile is set to zero again!?

This is really disheartening and its bad new having to start all over again.

I Googled it and saw thousands of people complaining of the same. I emailed Activision and he explained that due to player demand they now do not store players profiles and achievements online like they did in the previous games and every other online game I have played and made it local on the players C drive on their PC.

I said to him well Ive Googled thousands of people complaining of the same disaster and not one of anyone wanting a local profile and the risks that entails.

Well I for one if I lose my progress one more time will cancel my pr-order for Modern Warfare 2 and any other games that come out as its just not good enough especially as even if my profile was on my PC locally (This should have been mentioned in the manual allowing me the heads up to attempt to periodically back them up) but the fact is I did not have a glitch or anything that would have caused it, so basically its a virtual minefield and can happen and does at any time for no apparent reason.

So be warned!

Rating: 5 of out 5 - Brilliant for zombies

I think cod 5 is even better on pc than any other system purely because you can make your own zombie map.

Rating: 5 of out 5 - call of duty 5 good as call of duty4

i have this game for windows 64 bit and it runs sweet the game itself is exellent
just as good as call of duty 4 gameplay is great

Rating: 3 of out 5 - Ended faster than last night

Firstly, as i have enjoyed the other call of duty's so much, i played this one on veteran, to test my skills. and yet i still managed to complete the game in 4 and a half hours. i was slightly concerned that when you stay still, enemies just respawn, but if you push forward, they die and thats it... surely thats not how its meant to be?!!!

concentrated 99% on the online and 1% on the single player. however the graphics are pretty good and it is enjoyable to play. the gorey side of it is perfect. very few dogs! 3 in the entire game i think, compared to the many in cod4. decent game, too short, not as exciting as cod4. not worth the price, but hey an ok game.

would it ave got anywhere without the cod label though i wonder?
