gerard sounds completely different but i still like it =]

I bought this record as soon as it came having heard them through listing to bands like FFOR and PATD and FOB erggh emo whatever you call them all i know is, this is great foot tapping rock music especially played loud .So get this now if youve just got into Gerard and co and see where it all started.

I got this album after The Black Parade and Three Cheers, and I would recommend that order for anyone only just entering the punk-rock world.
You can definitly tell it's their first album. As my dad put it, it's unpolished, and I really love that about the album. The lyrics are violent and harsh, but touching at the same time. Through both Bullets and Three cheers MCR use a doomed lovers theme. If you like that (like me), listen to "Early sunsets over monroeville", "Demolition lovers" and "Drowning Lessons". This album sounds dark but they're all really good songs.A momentous first album. You're gonna love it!

i love this album, its better than the black parade but on par with revenge, and excellent cd all round, marks the beginning of my chemical romance as an excellent band. Love the dark lyrics, a must for any MCR fan. 5* worth every penny

When I first came across this album, I would mention MCR to my friends and all I'd get was puzzled faces. They've come a long way since then (as far as the fan base is concerned), but this album remains their best.

I would say that it was the first album I ever bought that really told me music had real power. I would say that his album set me off on a journey to where I am now musically, and please don't be put off by the band's legions of teeny fans. I strongly recommend it

This first MCR album is punk music, not emo, by-the-by; and really good punk music at that.
