Rating: - Blues, Blues and more Blues

Really disappointing. I believe that to Chris him(her) the head has gone away. Only it is Blues, Blues and more Blues ....! That roll! .Have a very good songs, but now only it(he,she) wants do it blues. I follow(continue) Chris for more of 20 years and cannot deal since(as,like) a DvD does not exist of any concert of him(it), but without Blues please.

used Amazon for the first time buying this DVD fantastic product any one that likes chris rea this is a must on 5.1 audio selection its like being at the concert really captures what the man is all about also bonus DVD documentry a real insight to life on the road for chris and the band. i since used Amazon two more times and bareing inmind the postal disruption 2 days i recieved goods.

Rating: - Boring, boring, boring

I really tried to like this DVD, but couldn't even finish watching it. Technically it's superb with great sound and camera work, but Chris Rea makes all the tunes sound the same with the blues treatment he gave them. There's also no connection with the audience. This should be given out on the NHS instead of valium!!

Rating: - The New Era of Blues

It seems to me that Chris Rea present us to "New Era" of the Blues. Certainly who watches this show percives that something is new in the way he plays and composes his blue songs. Perhaps it can be defined as "Rocky Blues" with fantastic electric guitars solos and something that tries to approximate rock and blues. Particularly I think he represents what happened in the 70's and 80's blues' transition, I mean in that time blues went to a more sophisticated instrumentals accords with more popular lyrics.So, Rea presents now to us a transition from that time to a new way to make Blues, what we can define as Rocky Blues. We can't also forget an excellent guitar player Rea is. An Excellent DVD that is worth buying and make reflections for next generations of the blues.
