Rating: - Wonderful groove feel to a fantastic album

The track My Friends is one of my top 5 favourite tracks of any band, ever. Beautifully crafted and performed song at perhaps the more mellow end of the RHCP's repetoir, but still with the groove and climax you'd expect.

Other high-points include the groovetastic Walkabout and Transcending, and the full-on Coffee Shop and One Big Mob. Pea is an enlightening view of the world from the view of the little guy, and for some reason is the song I sing most when I've had too much to drink!

Because of the mix of the album, the mellowness sits alongside the heavy, so beware of violent volume swings.

Dig the two best intros - Friends and Walkabout.
I guarantee this will get you smiling on the tube.

Rating: - by far the best chili peppers album

this album shows just how inventive the chili peppers are. they moved away from the punk of earlier albums and created some great songs on this album. part of its brilliance is in the variey of the songs from powerful rock to chilled jazz to great ballads. if you buy one chili peppers album,make it this one as anyone could find something in it to like.

This really is a superb album with a mix of slow songs like my friends pea and trancending and proper rhcp class like One hot minute one big mob and shallow be thy game THERES only one song i odnt like warped but so many other great songs make that up AEROPLANE is the greatest this is the best RHCP album closely followed by CALIFORNICATON GET THIS GET THIS

This is my favourite chilis album, perhaps with the exception of mother's milk. The tracks on this recording are PHENOMENAL. Dave Navarro makes tracks like "coffee shop" into true classics with his exceptional guitar playing. This is the album with aeroplane on it; one of the best chili songs of all time. Other classics on the album include- shallow be thy game, pea, walkabout,my friends.

Rating: - Amazing chilis that make you want to flamethrow

This is the sort of Album you want to wake up beside and grow old with, buy a house settle down, stop going out and lead a sensible life. It is the bom! It has everything. I have really got into the more mellow side of it you don't notice at first with songs such as tearjerker and my friends that glide over you like silk through a greased monkey. Aeroplane is obviously enticing as I am a Bass player and songs like walkabout just enforce the sense that this is one of the best albums EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
