- a little dissapointed
I always try to be positive (especially when it comes to music) but i got this cd 2day and was dissapointed.
I was hoping that there would be traces of the soul that was in some of soundgardens work (in my opinion down on the upside has a few great tunes)
although there are a few momments, i think in the whole this sounds quite sloppy, and the production is nothing compared to down on the upside, which i think, in places has a really epic and amazing sound (as does some of there other stuff). I also think the songs are trying to be too complicated with too much movement, when i think his voice works wonderfully as simple harmonies with a big sound and lots of voices. There also seem to be very few parts when he really lets go and puts some real passion into it as he has done before.
Personally i would say give this a miss and buy some of chris other work, but maybe u would like it, afterall we all have different tastes!

- Better than all the soundgarden albums....combined
Where do I start? Its not often I get an album that has not one single duff track. I was a huge Soundgarden fan (only my love for Faithnomore was greater), but the songwriting on this disc knocks the socks off everything Chris has done, including the Audioslave stuff. Go and buy it NOW!

- Discover Audioslave singer's past glories
If you've only recently discovered singer Chris Cornell via Audioslave, don't be fooled into thinking his previous band Soundgarden is all there is to discover. His 1999 solo album Euphoria Morning is his forgotten masterpiece - a beautiful album of adventurous, experimental and often introspective songs written and recorded with the help of Natasha Schneider and Alain Johannes of Californian band Eleven. Beautifully sung and including everything from the middle-eastern flavoured Can't Change Me to the stark epic of Steel Rain and the almost Elizabethan acoustic ballad Sweet Euphoria, this album also contains some of Cornell's best ever lyrics.

- EXCELLENT
This CD is a must for everyone, a mix of different music styles (Blues, Rock etc) with Chris Cornells distinctive & powerful vocal. Music for any time and any mood.

- One of the better music releases of the past few years...
Yes, this album is excellent. Chris Cornell's emotional vocals match other singing greats like Freddy Mercury and Jeff Buckley. Those of you that are into modern singer/songwriter performers would appreciate this CD, but be warned - sometimes its a bumpy ride!
