- Running out of steam
This album is overlong and many of the songs formulaic. Highlights include "Breathless", "Give me a Reason", "Irresistable" and "Give it all up". However as the album progresses all the songs do start to sound the same. The Corrs seem to have reached a crossroads - I dont think they can get away with another album similar to this and they need to develop their style in some other direction to progress. This album is polished pop , Andrea Corr's vocals are as good as ever , but unfortunately the finished product is somewhat bland.

- A massive let-down!
Having enjoyed Talk on Corners I couldn't wait for this album. I feel I wasted my money. I think Andrea should go solo or else just stick with her sisters and let Jim work behind the scenes. Andrea has a lovely voice but has the violinist been sacked? I couldn't hear any traces of the violin in this compilation. I will look out for the Corrs' next album with interest but although I think they will continue to sell in Europe, a band producing such bland music will never EVER break America. Invest your money in Shania Twain's albums instead!!!

- Little Irish for new album
I am a big Corrs fan and like everyone else had to buy this album instantly. However, Little does it portray the traditional Irish theme whatsoever through the entire album.
The first track for the album is Breathless and this is upbeat and very pop-like. However the only problem is ,is that, there is non-of their traditional Irish music (or should i say sharon's violin) playing heavly in the background. Then it moves on to give me a reason....it gets much worse...the music has turned into some 80's disco theme...where are the corrs???
Though i must admit i do like one track which is "say" this is a nice soft number with a beat going on..oh this is a song they should release if they want their sales to improve.
"Irresitable"..their recent was catchy but only a "listen once and cant listen again" kinda tune. Netherless, some songs can be listened to again but its whether you go for that catchy 80's pop music. This is an album to buy if you are mad for the corrs..not mad for their music. It will also appeal to those who are not for traditional irish music and want something....."different"
Overall this album is one which will be played three times over and forgotton about and never heard again. The album shows to much of their image and not of their capable talent and this too much reflects in their over-produced album. :)

- Shouldn't track 7 read indefinable?
Even from the cover picture you can tell this album is not going to be in the Corrs usual style (psst girls, the word tart springs to mind and I'm not talking apple, & Jim that's just not a good look!)
The CD starts off well with the upbeat hit single Breathless, but as soon as you hear the first vocals of give me a reason (which will make you cringe ever so slightly) you know something is up. Gone are the Corrs trademark fiddle & tin whistle, well you might just be able to make them out on a couple of tracks, & all your left with is a collection of over produced pop songs with hardly any of the original Celtic influence at all.
That's not to say there aren't any good songs on it, tracks 3&4 are pleasant enough little dittys, and give it all ups reggae rhythm will have you singing along, but even that doesn't compare to Runaway or Love to Love from their debut album Forgiven not Forgotten. I think the best track, the instrumental Rebel Heart is saved for last, seams like they remembered the fiddle after all! (I expect Jim arrived late with it after sacking the bands stylist!)
But that's just my opinion ;-)

- BLUE I THINK NOT
This albulm is a classic of its time. Pop at its best I'm a massive fan of the corrs and have every albulm. This albulm is different and doesn't have the same traditional irish calssics that we all know and love and also expect from the corrs but without it its a brilliant albulm the lyrics have meaning and the instruments are played as we always expect from the corrs brilliantly yes its different but its still the corrs and in my opinion still brilliant.
