THIS IS BY FAR EMINEMS STRONGEST ALBUM TO DATE HE ADDRESSESS ISSUES NOT JUST PERSONAL TO HIM BUT ISSUES ABOUT THE RAP GAME.MY FAVOURITE TRACKS ARE MARSHALL MATHERS AND THE WAY I AM BOTH ARE HIM EXPRESSING HES RAGE AND HES VIEWS ON THINGS ESPECIALLY ABOUT ABOUT HES BEEF WITH ICP AND SOURCE MAGAZINE AND MENTIONS ABOUT RAPPERS IMITATING BIGGIE AND PACS MUSIC SO ITS VERY TRUTHFULL STUFF AND VERY POWERFULL AND I WOULD CONSIDER THIS ALBUM TO BE 1 OF THE GREATEST ALBUMS OF ALL TIME AND CEMENTED EMINEM AS A LEGEND IN HIP HOP IM GLAD HE GOT RID OF HES CARTOONISH LYRICS IN HES FIRST LP I MEAN IT STILL WAS A GOOD ALBUM AND VERY DEXTERISE BUT I PREFER THE ANGER SIDE OF EMINEM ITS MUCH MORE ENTERTAINING BUT THE ONLY SONG WHICH IS EXTREMELY DISTURBING IS KIM WHERE HE SLITS HER THROAT THEN PROCEEDS TO SCREAM BLEED BITCH BLEED BUT AFTER READING HES AUTOBIOGRAPHYS U SOON REALIZE WHY EMINEM DID THIS SONG EVEN THOUGH ITS STRONG BUT OVERALL AN EXCELLENT ALBUM AND WORTH EVERY PEENY

This is one of the best Hip Hop albums of all time come on people listen to quality of this Album, this will wipe out any competion these days Eminem will definetly go down as a legend in Hip Hop plus Dre does an excellent job with beats and the cameos are just right
Recommended to anyone who likes music!!!!!!!!!

Rating: - 'The Real Slim Shady'

This is by far eminems best albums and well worth the money. most of these songs are classics and every song is listenable to which is very rare for an album. Every song is witty, well written, good flowing, good beat and good rapping. if you don't have this album you haven't heard eminem properly yet. This album is about 100 times better than that piece of crap encore.

Rating: - fairly good

good raps, good beats, overall very good. One of his best pieces of work. The song 'Kim' is a little uncalled for though. Didn't like that one, everything else was good though! (Apart from the skits!)

Rating: - Brutal, Violent and Briliant. Em's best and brightest album

This is Eminem's first shot at being a rap superstar, and he sure as hell succeeded with it. This was Eminem's best album because it was around the time of it's release to the world that he was on the verge of commiting suicide. This was due to his mother, his uncle's suicide, his wife divorcing him and his drug and alcohol abuse, so all of the anger that creeps into his lyrics are understandable. A few of the tracks are aimed at his wife, especially "Kim" in which he brutually murders her after he discovers she slept with another man. Another is "Kill you" pretty much aimed at the same crowd, but it has to do with his mother's verbal abuse.

"Stan" is easily the best track on the whole disk, and second best song in Eminem's career (the first one being "Lose Youself", obviously) because it deals with a character who is going through what Eminem went through in real life, dealing with one crisis after another, but he resolves in dedicating his basement to Eminem. As the song progresses, you can hear what is almost like a slow descent into madness, just because Em didn't write back.

As I said earlier, this is Em's best work, The Eminem Show, Slim Shady LP and Encore are all brilliant, nut this is the one that sticks out because it showed what Em had to go thorugh to get to where hwe is today and all the anger he channelled into every track, wheras all the others don't quite stick to the raw anger that was heard in this masterpiece. Easily deserving the 5 stars, Eminem should go back to his roots and write more brutal songs like "The Way I am", "Kim" and "Drug Ballad". Impressive Eminem, keep going.
