I got this wen it 1st came out and have recently been listining to it again. It's lyrical genius no doubt. wen i first heard stan i was amazed and made every1 listen to it. All the tracks are quality and the guest apperences are top. It amazes me how this work of art can cause all these protests.
If ur open minded and love hip hop y'all luv this. If u take everything to seriously then u will probably organize a protest

I was not overly exited about listening to this album but I listened to it at a friends house and changed my opinion of marshall he is a lyrical genius you may not agree,relate to, understand every single word he speaks but thats what makes it soooooo good its raw, fresh, exiting and different everything music should be which is: honest, telling you like it is and as he raps himself not sugarcoated at all which makes you seriously think at times or sit back chill and laugh outload if you dont understand where i am comming from listen to criminal if you dont get it then you never will but if you do buy it!

Rating: - Pretty good.

This album is pretty good on the whole and when i first bought it i thought it was great and didnt stop playing it. But it is not an album that can be forever played. Every track is well produced usually by dre and the man himself. Standout tracks are 'Stan (better before it had benn played to death by mtv etc.)', 'Amityville', 'I'm Back' and probably 'The way i am'. Noi song on this album is bad but you will eventually find yourself leaving it to the side after seeing the videos a million times and hearing the tracks over and over. However, this is a more mature and better album than 'The Slim Shady LP'. I am now waiting for some new stuff!!

I'm glad I didn't buy this Cd myself, as it is beginning to collect dust at the bottom of my CD pile. (how can it collect dust at the bottom?!) Anyway, he's only famous cos he's one of the first white rappers. His lyrics are interesting, but the rap is not catchy at all. Some of the songs such as Kill You and Kim are very violent and uncomfatable to listen to. Stan is probably the best song, but that's only because it has Dido in it. The Real Slim Shady is also pretty good, with a more catchy tune. All the rest are the same, killing people, hating gays and beating up women. Oh yeah, and nearly as many swear words as the South Park movie.

Rating: - Eminems second (and better ) album Rocks

I bought this cd the day it came out and I was not dissapointed. In my opinion, this album is much better than the Slim Shady LP, because the mood is'nt set as dark as it and is much more enjoyable to listen to. But this cd is not everybody's cup of tea, due to its extremely explicit lyrics. Even if you're not a rap fan, get this album now!
