Average rating - 3.5 out of 5

Rating: 1 of out 5 - Wu Delusions

Are all the reviewers hear blinded by loyalty to anything the Wu release? Don't get me wrong I am a massive fan of the Wu and defend most criticism. Rza's sci-fi, hip hop experiments with Bob Digi pay off and the benifits are clearly visible on Iron Flag. However, Ghost's lateest release is - on the whole - rubbish. Maxine is probably the strongest track on the album the rest are R&B. Anyone who thinks otherwise should dig out Iron Man from their supposedly vast Wu Tang collection and listen to it followed by Bulletproof Wallets and then say which one rocks the spot. Buy Iron Flag instead and find some real Wu Bangers....

Rating: 5 of out 5 - THE BEST WU TANG ALBUM EVER.....

This is most probably the best album ive ever heard.i own every wu album and solo, and this tops em all off. ghost uses his magic here. i dont know why everyones hailing the RZA cos he hasnt done half of the work on the album. before ghost wrote it he said he didnt want rza taking over. the best tracks are written by other ghost and wu affiliates. rza does produce some good tracks though. RZA is still the master producer.

the style ghost uses is similar to supreme clientele. you get the real raw and crazy fast beats like you here on those old 70's cop shows.
everything here is just amazing. ust fast and furious hip hop.
dont know what else to say apart from BUY IT!!
GHOST OWNZ

Rating: 5 of out 5 - Tony Starks comes again with another banger

I rate this as one of the best hiphop albums of 2001. Its not another rza-molded serious & sinister sounding Wu solo album, its fresh and entertaining, and i think we all know by now that Ghost is the best lyrical talent from the Wu camp. Ok there's an rnb track thats a bit wack but there are some gems too. Ghost shows he can keep inventing lyrical styles (check maxine). Buy this LP, its quality

Rating: 5 of out 5 - A triumph

Every time Ghostface Killah releases a solo album, the Wu-Tang Clan marks down another victory. With Ironman, Supreme Clientele and now Bulletproof Wallets, Ghostface takes us back in Wu history and reminds us how good it can and should be. Buletproof Wallets can be compared to Wu classics 'Only Built For Cuban Linx (Raekwon)', 'Liquids Swords (GZA)', and the one that started it all, 1993's classic 'Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)'. Tracks to look out for on 'Bulletproof Wallets' are the Alchemist produced 'Forest'(The best track on the album) and 'Flowers'(Featuring Raekwon, Superb and Method Man). Wu's Iron Man has once again kept the Wu flag from falling despite been behind fellow Wu members Ol' Dirty, Method Man, RZA and U-God in term of lyrical skill and talent. A wise purchase for any Wu member wanting to build their Cd collection.

Rating: 5 of out 5 - This album is excellent

This album is excellent, not as serious and with less substance than Ghosts other 2 records, but to the casual Hip-Hop fan far more accessible.
