Rating: - A matured version of LOTM

When i first bought LOTM,i loved all the songs at first sight.The same applied for Jennifer Paige's debut album.It was then many say that whenever a singer release a 2nd album it would be not as successful........i find that not true at all.It's just that there is a need to understand that the singer's style changes as he/she matures in his/her music.When i first listened to it,i could not get used to it and felt the songs are empty.....its like i listened to LOTM too much.I took my time the next day for 2-3 listenings before i could conclude that its not as bad i first thought......in fact it is great!
In White Lillies Island one could see there are differences in Natalie's style compared to LOTM; the music is now more subtle.The pace is slower but the music still holds a lot of substance in it.
For all Natalie's fans out there.....buy this one ;its worth it.Take your time to listen to it and i'm sure you would love it :)

Rating: - Strong brilliant follow up

Left of the middle was a great album mixing all types of music style to produce a fantastically diverse album.

White lilies Island is just as good.

Natalies music has moved on and this album sounds more grown up than the last. The songs arent as diverse in style as left of the middle but there are some excellent rock songs, pop songs and ballads all balanced to perfection.

Stand out songs are "Sunlight" "Wrong impression" the fine example of grown up pop, "Satellite" and the ballad "Good bye" and of the course the strong 1st single "that day"

This is a must have album, Buy it now, you wont be dissapointed.

Rating: - Fantastic, but not the same as LOTM

I just bought this having waited so long after first hearing Left of the middle, which is still my favourite album. I love this, but dont expect it to carry straight on from where LOTM finished. The sound has changed and grown and its got more of a beat to it, the lyrics are a bit edgier too. Dont think that just cos it aint the same it isnt good, cos any fan of natalies will get into this album quickly. buy it!

Rating: - Brilliant follow up

Natalie Imbruglia has done the near impossible. She has produced a second record that builds on all that was good about the first, and produces a brilliant follow up. A more guitar laden, more gutsy and at times more tender album that proves that she is a real force to be reckoned with.
If you liked the first one, you'll love this. Go on, do your self a favour.....

Natalie continues to be a major force in contemporary alternative music. Her unique style of bubble gum pop blended with inciteful lyrics continue to stagger. Buy this now.
