- the wonder of stevie
It would be heresy to say that this album shows Stevie Wonder is back on form since he has really never been off form. Fashions in music have changed and Stevie has stayed consistant to his philosophy of producing innovative and lasting music.
Of all Motown artists Stevie Wonder has the greatest longevity producing superb music for over 40 years. Think about that for a minute.
He produced some of the most amazing albums ever recorded in the Motown stable and as he has aged he has taken more time to come up with work that is incomparable even to his own work.
On this album from the first note of the first track "If your love cannot be moved" you know you are in the hands of a Master.
He varies in style from those floor-filling dance tunes ~ Positivity, to the gentle romantic ballads that, let's face it, nobody does better. Just listen to "Cant Imagine Love Without You" and know that this will be THE tune for so many young, and not so young, lovers.
The quality of Stevie's voice has matured and like a good wine has so improved with age.
If you want further proof of the guy's genius check out the closing track written and featuring the amazing India Arie "A Time to Love" and I swear you aill not be able to play it just once but have to repeat it again and again to get the Wonder glow. It is an anthem for a new world
Now go and buy it!!

- New wonders from Stevie...
Don't know what others reviewers say but I quite enjoyed this record, is probably not Stevie's landmark record but it has great grooves (so what the fuzz) and melodic pieces like (cant I imagine the world w/o you) which are truly great.
The sound of the record is fantastic and the production is worth of carrying the thunderous `wonder' credit.
Fans should own this record! I think it blends the more commercial side of Stevie with his wonderful grooves from the 70's
Let the music play!

- A Time To Love
As an owner of the vast back catalogue of Stevie Wonder albums, I am shamed to admit that it took me nearly a year to purchase this album. (No not because an ability to raise the money)But because of fear. Fear. Fear that the album would not be as good as the many others I own. Fear that I would be dissapointed. Well having finally bought the album last week, I now realise what a mistake I've mad. 77 minutes, of pure magic. No, not the funky edge of Innervisions. But that was 30 years ago. This is 2006. Music and society has changed. And this is a trully classic fusion, of soul, jazz and rnb, providing one of the great contemporary albums. For what it's worth would recommend any Stevie Wonder fan, to dip into their pocket and have this sitting proudly alongise all the other great Stevie Wonder albums. Three, or four songs in particular are just pure magic.

- Stevie's Back
Wonderfull CD. You can never get bored of it. Some of the songs remind me of Stevie's oldies. My personal favorite is "A time to Love" duet with India.Arie. IF I didnt know it was India singing I would have thought that Whitney Houston was there - Lovely tune, lovely lyrics and great beat. I give this one perfect. The whole Album is great, it varies from Soul to R&B and Jazz. If you are a music lover, you will love this one.

- a very good album,..
Another fine effort from the Wonder Man!! It took me a few listens to really get into it but now it's there along with his other great early albums,..no, it's not, SITKOL,or FFF, or IV's, this album is what Mr Wonder is doing with his life and his music in 2006!,..listen, relax and enjoy the mellow musicality and well- produced vibes. Thank you Stevie!
