This is still early days as I have only just upgraded from Office 2000 and I am still finding my way around. So far all is going well.

Rating: - Office 2003 professional - last of the best?

As a regular user of MS Office 2003 Professional I thought I would have a copy of the full suite including Access and Publisher. Microsoft get bad press about everything these days yet, quietly, in the background millions of us use the Office suite daily for our business and/or leisure. It does everything and does it well. I think it has a user friendly interface too. I recently tried an evaluation copy of Office 2007 and immediately hated it as being less user friendly. Even after a couple of days of continued use I found it irritating to get around. Many businesses still use older versions of Office like Office 2000 without any problems. I think I will stick with the version I have and see what comes along on the 2010 version, but if it uses the ribbon interface and looks like Office 2007 I will not rush out to buy it. Whats the point? Office 2003 is fine and it does more that I will ever use it fully for, so I see little point in upgrading for a different look and a few changed functions.

I was impressed with the way Robert Fulch communicated with me throughout the shipment, the care and cost he devoted to packaging and sending the software, and in addition, I appreciated the helpful documentation note shipped with the disk. I should be glad to order from this vendor again, and indeed, I am looking for a professional version of Windows XP, if he can find one for me.

I was completely satisfied with the product. This was a replacement for Office 2003. I was considering the next one up (2007) but when I gave it the 60 day trial is was far to complex for my needs. So, with the skill of long use I returned to the system I know and am now completely happy with Office Professional 2003.
