Rating: 3 of out 5 - Mac OSX Leopard Review

I recently purchased Mac OSX Leopard 10.5.6 to prepare my 2007 Mac Pro for using VMWare Fusion 3.1 (for running Windows on a Mac). If you only use your Mac for accessing the Internet, you should have no problems upgrading to this OS. If on the other you are more techy orientated and do web development locally (running your Mac as a server etc.), you will most definatley have teething problems that you'll need to sort once you've performed the upgrade - but rest assured, it is worth it.

Rating: 3 of out 5 - ibook upgrade

Was easy to install. Was disappointed that I could only watch bbc iplayer and not itv as it's not compatable. Had problems with firefox but apart from that, it does the job.

Rating: 5 of out 5 - Apple software update

As Apple are now being heavy handed in taking all previous software packages from the market place when they launch a new product, it leaves those of us with older kit high and dry. Luckily I found 1 supplier who still had Leopard to allow me to upgrade.
It was delivered promptly and has been installed successfully.

Rating: 5 of out 5 - OSX Leopard

Easy installation - just slip in the disc and let it run. Encountered no problems on my old Macbook (loaded with 2GB RAM and 500GB hard disk). Only niggle - delivery took longer than I'd have liked, but that's neither Amazon nor Apple's fault.

Upgraded immediately to Snow Leopard - but that's another story.
