- Return to form
After the disapointment of series 4, series 5 is a return to form. The second part of the series not only will have you in tears of laughter but of joy and of distress. Joss Whedon takes the characters on an emmotional roller coaster and just when the end is near gives you that bit extra. Spike returns and his ever developing crush turns in to an obsession, with amusing consequences. Willows powers develop pushing the dark side of her truely innocent nature. This series has definatley developed all the characters, with some unexpected actions from a few. This will most certainly have you banging down the door for future series.

- Best of the Best?
This is proberly the best season of Buffy, amazing writing especially "The Body" and "The Gift" which made me cry twice. Dawn discovery of what she really is; is classic. This is better than box set 1. I recommend this to anybody.

- IM GIVING THIS 5 STARS BECAUSE OF THE GIFT AND THE BODY!!
Ok so you have seen buffy seasons 1-4 and season 4 was very slow and looked as if the story wrighters were stuck for ideas. Then came along season five which will move everyone who sees it. The storyline of the hole season is dawn a fake sister that everyone has fake memories about. Her sister is a pain throughout the season. And is causing trouble for exsample slitting her rists to see if she is reel and if her bloods reel. And trying to reserect a certain cast membor that die whithin the last 5 epiosdes. Anya dose not understand why every one crys over death.
By the end of the season you will like dawn because of the uncalled for dramatic end of the season. the last episode is resonaly gory for the 15 certificate and has more blood than they usaly have. The new badie is an imortal god. Angel has another guest appearence boo hoo. the series ends with 3 cast membors short. A releif that one of them goes because this certain cast membour was a pain in the ass!!! Tara (Amber benson) Becomes glorys brain dinner and is brain dead. Willow is all boo hoo. Spike Becomes a bigger part and falls in love with buffy. drusilla comes back and shows spike how to kill again!!!! Spike end up being a good guy!!!!! and anya gets her name in the credits!!! she is a main part as well and gets a job at the maGic shop with giles.
THE FIRST EPISODE IS STUPID AND HAS DRACULAR IN I ONLY GIVE IT **

- On a scale of 1-10 a definite 12
Buffy has always been amazing, but Season 5 is definitely the best of the seasons. And as always, the second half of the season is the better half. There's so many shocks in this, the biggest one definitely being in 'The Gift' and you really need to take notice of all the things in every episode. The best episodes in the season are 'Blood Ties' which gives Michelle Tratchenberg a chance to show her acting skills, 'The Body' which is upsetting and is written amazingly(and there's no music throughout) and,of course 'The Gift'- The best Buffy season Finale ever(and we've had some amazing ones)! You have to have this box set!!!!

- Five alive!!!
Box one was a pure delight but somehow this set manages to be even better. Joss Whedon and Co. know how to treat us to an end-of-year finale and, it has to be said, that this season's is possibly the best ever! I'm not going to give away what happens but, believe me, it's something you never would have expected. Things spiral out of control during the final three or four episodes and there's a sense of mounting tension and fear that makes the final episode (and 100th, at that) a very satisfying conclusion indeed. While there a couple of duds (the majorly overrated Checkpoint and the disappointing Crush, which wastes a great opportunity to make use of a returning character), most of the episodes collected on these three videos are pure brilliance, with The Body head and shoulders above the rest. The death of a major character here results in a deeply moving and inventive adult piece of modern television. There are plenty more surprises - more characters dying or being brain-sucked, a brief but intriguing visit from Angel, a Buffy robot that causes much confusion, Spike's confession of love to the Slayer, and a wedding engagement! However, these are just a few of the brilliant developments thought up by the master (Whedon) and the eps can be appreciated truly in only one way - by buying them and watching them! So do so...
